Struga, cave churches and Vevchani tour

Program

The driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or any location of your preference in Ohrid. Transfer from Ohrid with our vehicle to the neighboring town of Struga. In the town of Struga, we will take a walk through the streets and visit the lock where the water of Lake Ohrid flows into the river “Black Drim”. After that, we will visit the villages Kalishta and Radozhda, which are famous for their cave churches and frescoes. In Kalishta, you will find the only icon where the Mother of God is painted in a black robe and with a black face, and the child Jesus is black. The last stop of our tour is the village of Vevchani where we will visit the springs of Vevhcani – a beautiful park. In a national restaurant in the village of Vevchani, we will have a chance for an optional national lunch. We return to Ohrid and drop you off at the hotel or any other location of your preference in Ohrid.
