Tirana and Durres tour

Program

The driver/guide will pick you up from the hotel or any location of your preference in Ohrid. We drive to the Macedonian-Albanian border. We cross the border at Kjafasan (near Struga) and drive to the capital of Albania, Tirana (approximately 2 and a half hours). On halfway we stop for a coffee break. In Tirana we will visit the National Museum, the Mausoleum of the dictator Enver Hoxha and the Ethem Bey Mosque, as well as the bunker of Enver Hoxha. We walk in the city park and then we have 1-hour free time in the city. We leave Tirana and head to the ancient town and port of Durres. We walk along the Adriatic Sea and visit the ancient amphitheater afterward. Possibility for lunch in a restaurant for outdoor delicious seafood dishes, other dishes also possible. We drive back to Ohrid, and we will drop you off at any location of your preference in Ohrid.
