Albania and Greece in one day from Ohrid

Program

Our guide will pick-you-up from your hotel or any other location in Ohrid. Our first stop for the day will be the town of Korca, a small town, that is turning out to be one of the modern towns in Albania, while the traces of communist isolation are still visible. We will be able to visit the Museum of Medival art, with some of the most beautiful preserved Medival objects from the surrounding. After the Korca sightseeing, we will continue our way to Greece, and the town of Kastoria. Kastoria lies on the shores of the Orestiada lake, where you can see the most beautiful scenes of pelicans and cormorants swimming around. We could have lunch or a coffee break in some of the restaurants and cafes on the lake shores. We have a chance to visit the Cave of the Dragon, near Kastoria, and explore the inside on a guided tour. In the end, we will get back to our comfortable vehicle and drive back to Ohrid. If the weather allows it, we can make the return trip through the Galichica National Park.
