Interesting Albania We were very happy to visit some towns and villages in Albania because Ohrid is so close to the Albanian border. Maria, from the agency office, booked our excellent guide and driver Daniel, with her information, helped us very much in our decision about what to visit in Albania in one day and not too far from our hotel. We picked up two towns and a few villages in the very rural region of Pustec. Our guide Daniel knew some people in this area and it was great to have him and to understand better the culture and tradition of this region. It was interesting to see that about 80 percent of the vehicles in the area were Mercedes, some very old ones, but some brand new ones. The region of Pustec was a real revelation. It is one of the most rural areas in Europe. There were donkeys and cows everywhere around the fields. I so much liked this trip.

Day tour Millennium Cross and Matka Canyon We had not much time in Skopje, but anyway we decided to visit the Matka Canyon. Our guide Spasija was friendly and she spoke excellent English, so we had easy communication. The view from the top of mountain Vodno to Skopje was spectacular. Matka Canyon was simply beautiful. The local boatman Agron who took us to the cave Vrelo was making jokes all the way to the cave and back. We were glad we booked this trip.

Vergina and Pella Museums I am interested in the ancient Macedonian civilization and while I was in Skopje, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to book a trip to Greece. And it was really something. The tomb of Phillip the Second of Macedon is definitely one of the world wonders. It was spectacular. The next we visited was Pella, the birthplace of Alexander the Great. The museum and the archaeological site were equally amazing. Toni the driver, and Peter the guide were an excellent team. We recommend

Lovely trip to Ohrid We booked this when we were in Ohrid. We wanted to visit Pella, the ancient Macedonian capital. It is approximately a 4 hours drive. And it was amazing. The museum in Pella had a great number of artifacts from the Ancient Macedonian kingdom and empire. Just an hour away is the Vergina tomb, where Phillip, Alexander’s father, was buried. His underground tomb is indescribable, full of golden, silver, copper objects, potteries, personal belongings. You must visit these places once in your life. Thanks to Naum, our driver, and guide.

Sofia is amazing While we were in Skopje, we took a chance and booked a trip to Sofia, and we did not regret it at all. We liked Sofia very much. Daniel was an excellent guide; he took us around the very interesting city attractions, from antiquity and medieval times. Vitosha Street was an excellent choice for lunch and drink. Thanks to Toni too, for being a careful driver.

The beautiful old Ohrid I enjoyed the landscape on the way to Ohrid. The guide Daniel provided me with a lot of information about this old town. The lake was so clear. The reconstruction of a prehistoric museum on the water called Bay of bones was something extraordinary. Visiting this place is a must.

Trip to Ohrid The driver Toni and the guide Bob were such a good team. They were on time, informative, polite, and knowledgeable. Ohrid was something that I will always remember. Medieval churches, a great natural lake with crystal clear water, surrounded by high mountains. Bob recommended a restaurant by the lake and we enjoyed the specialty, grilled Ohrid trout. Thank you, team, you made our day!

Gratitude. 🙏
